A Seemingly Miraculous
Healing
D.L. was a 45 year-old man who had suffered
for 17 months with muscle weakness and atrophy, severe
recurring pains in the left shoulder and arm, and lesser
pains in numerous other locations, combined with deep
fatigue. Five different HMO physicians and
a specialist at UCLA had evaluated him. He received
conflicting reports pointing vaguely toward some sort
of neurological problem and given only pain medication
as a solution.
The lack of progress was causing Mr. L.
to be concerned about his future. He was married
with a 9 year-old daughter and unable to be the playful
